The volunteering experts at Volunteering England have put together an information sheet on how to retain volunteers. The information sheet points out that often the focus can be on how to recruit new volunteers for your project, and sometimes the other end of the process – keeping hold of the volunteers that you already work with – gets forgotten.
The information sheet has lots of useful tips, such as making the volunteering experience really motivating and rewarding, so that you can keep hold of your valued volunteers.
