We were promised a site in October 2013 and all was going well … then Council said they were going to put the site on the market last June …. nothing has happened since. All advice welcome! thanks Wendy July 24, 2015 at 2:41 pm #11252 ChrisParticipant **Wendy** Hi Wendy. Thanks for this. You need to contact Locality at http://www.locality.org.uk . Hope this helps, Chris (NALC) July 24, 2015 at 3:21 pm #11254 LynParticipant Hi The Community Right to Build is an alternative way of securing planning permission for community buildings of local housing via a local referendum. More information here http://mycommunity.org.uk/programme/community-buildings/ I think you may be referring to the similarly named Right to Build, which is a government proposal aimed at providing self builders with access to council owned land as serviced building plots.
