Once operational plans are submitted on 19 February 2016 they will assessed by an assessor and reviewed at a final sign-off panel within 5-10 days of submission. The panel will consist of colleagues from DCLG and Locality. The plans will assessed against the 7 criteria highlighted earlier by Amber and linked to below:
If the panel feel that all elements on the checklist have been addressed then the plan will be signed-off. If the panel believe further clarity may be required areas will be requested to revise and resubmit before final sign-off by 31 March 2016.
If an area is required to also submit a CBA this will be reviewed by colleagues at DCLG and will be either signed-off or returned with a request for additional information/clarity.
When starting to put-together your draft operational plan regular reference to the checklist would be my strong recommendation.
