Whilst we are all here I wanted to ask everyone their thoughts about the peer review process for the plans. Between submission of the draft plan at the end of November and final plan in February we had scheduled in some time for peer reviews. This had taken place on the Our Place programme, and they thought it was beneficial. First Steps community action plans will not be as detailed as Our Place operational plans, but we think there could be useful feedback to be had from fellow First Steppers.
We are interested to know if you think it would be useful and how you would like it to happen. Remotely, by email? By swapping plans with another group who either are based near you, are delivering on a similar theme, or someone completely random. Or by coming together to meet others face to face, possibly in your local region?
What we would do is provide guidance to groups about giving feedback, we would want the process to be supportive, constructive and helpful, not overly critical.
