What information should my local authority be sharing?

The Local Government Transparency Code contains information that each local authority is required to publish. This includes how money is spent and how land and assets are used.

This sort of information can be useful for a range of things – perhaps finding out more about under-used pieces of land or finding the contact details for a particular team or member of staff.

This document summarises what information should be published and how you can access it. It is designed to make it easier for you to contribute to local decision making and help you to shape public services.
