Social Enterprise UK (SEUK) is the national membership body for social enterprises. They have a range of free resources for people who either have started, or are about to start their own social enterprise.
There is an in-depth FAQ for beginners, downloadable guides and case studies to help social enterprises of all sizes and from all sectors.
There is also practical advice for getting to grips with the Social Value Act, a law passed in 2012 which requires all public bodies in England and Wales to consider how the services they commission and procure might improve the economic, social and environmental well-being of the area.
