St. John’s Ambulance (SJA) claim that fewer than one in 10 people have been trained in first aid, and so have uploaded a range of teaching resources so that young people can learn how to save a life.
SJA have created the ‘Teach the Difference’ site to provide resources so that first aid knowledge can be spread to more young people.
Although mainly aimed at teachers, there are resources specifically for leaders of Scouts, Brownies and Guides, and other community groups for young people. There is also the opportunity to gain the necessary qualifications to teach more general courses for adults.
